These new electric glow bowl fragrance systems have become a new hit in our outlet store. Glow bowls work similar to our jar candle warmers in that there is no open flame needed to spread the fragrance from the scented crystals throughout your home. There is a small low watt light bulb, which is attached to a wooden base, which provides heat to evaporate the scented crystals, releasing fragrance into the air. The bulb never comes in contact with the scented crystals as it is surrounded by the base of the glow bowl. The light gives off a soft glow as it shines through the colored crystals. The glow blow unit is sold separately from the gel.
I love this scent. I normally buy the Montana jar but sage citrus not available at the time. I was disappointed though. even when I had cut the wicks down, it still had black smoke coming out making a smoky haze in my kitchen. Open to suggestions please.
Reply: In addition to trimming the wicks before you light the candle, to help keep the soot to a minimum you will need to extinguish the flames trim the wicks and relight it after it has been burning a while especially has the level of wax gets lower down in the jar.
